I created Storymore because I know what it’s like to run out of time.

I lost my dad when I was 18.

I had the memories, the old VHS tapes, and the secondhand stories people told.

As I got older, I realized what I didn't have.

I didn't have the stories I never asked for.

What stories did he carry that never made it to me?

Those questions don’t feel urgent when everyone is healthy. Then one day, they’re all you can think about.

A few years ago, my mom had a stroke.

She was in the ICU for nearly a month. The doctor told me he was surprised she lived.

And in that room I felt something I had already felt once before.

A person’s stories can disappear with them. Not because no one cared, but because nobody asked in time.

I built Storymore to make asking easier. The questions we keep putting off. The questions sometimes too uncomfortable to ask. 

Storymore is for the stories we don’t want to lose. 

The ones we should ask for now.
